Earning Extra Money with Receipt Programs

This week I share my favorite programs you can earn from by uploading your receipts.

Last week I shared my top opportunity (Pogo), and you can upload receipts there as well, but I also use Fetch and Receipt Hog. I also tried Ibotta but hated that program because you have to select items you'd like to buy (and, as a vegan who eats a lot of whole foods, they didn't have many offers I could use), then you upload your receipts (or link to your store's loyalty or rewards program).

I've been using both Fetch and Receipt Hog for YEARS. They have other ways to earn (for example, Fetch has games you can play and Receipt Hog has surveys available and both offer other bonuses), but I use them primarily to upload receipts and rarely anything else. Because I don't take full advantage of the apps, I earn very slowly here, but it's consistent and reliable. I have been paid dozens of times from each.

Fetch has a rating of 4.7 stars from over 1.3 million users. This program has a minimum redemption of 3000 points, which is about $3. They have lots of bonuses available for products you can buy, and they automatically apply when you upload the receipt. It's incredibly easy and you don't need to select it prior to shopping or do a ton of planning.

With Fetch you can cash out for a variety of gift cards to your favorite shops. They have dozens available, so there is sure to be something there for everyone. It takes about 3 days for your reward to be ready.

Receipt Hog has a rating of 4.6 stars from almost 300,000 users. Earnings here can be cashed out to your PayPal account, an Amazon gift card, or a Visa gift card. Rewards take about 3-7 days to arrive in your email, so you have to be on the lookout for that and not delete it accidentally!

I don't mind slow earnings from these and use them as "background earners" because when I shop and get a receipt, it only takes a second to snap a picture of them in these apps (and Pogo), and the money just continues to add up.
